a note on introversion

    Sometimes I just want to curl up under my shell and hide. My slightly inhibited ways could be because Iโ€™m a Cancerian, in which, like the crab, we like to protect our soft insides with a tough outer exterior. But itโ€™s mainly because Iโ€™m an introvert (an INFJ to be exact). I have a natural tendency to prefer my own internal world of thoughts and feelings than wanting to be around a group of people.

lessons from a 91 year old

My Lola (grandma), also known as Inang or Meding to friends and family, turns 91 year this year. Inevitably, itโ€™s made me think about how sheโ€™s been able to stay so strong and sharp up to this ripe old age (and praying for many more years to come).
